- RCWC: Red Creek Wildlife Center, Inc.
- Wildlife Rehabilitation: The care of injured, orphaned, or sick wildlife for the purpose of release, including related activities such as capture and transport.
- WildlifeEDU: A training program and resource hub for wildlife rehabilitators provided by RCWC, covering multiple domains: wildlifeedu.com, wildlifeedu.net, wildlifeedu.us, wildlifeedu.info, wildlifeedu.org.
Terms of Service
All content within the WildlifeEDU website and app, including videos, written materials, handouts, and calculators, is for the sole use of the enrolled user. Users may not share, reproduce, distribute, or provide access to any content in any form, for any reason.
Disclaimer
WildlifeEDU does not verify whether users hold the necessary permits or legal authority to rehabilitate wildlife. The platform is available to:
- Permitted wildlife rehabilitators
- Sub-permittees and volunteers working under the direction of a permitted wildlife rehabilitator
- Veterinarians working with wildlife
- Individuals seeking education about wildlife rehabilitation.
- Those in training to become wildlife rehabilitators.
Certain techniques or equipment described in this program may be illegal for unlicensed individuals in some jurisdictions while permitted for licensed rehabilitators in others. It is solely the user’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
Permitting & Licensure
Wildlife rehabilitation is regulated by:
- State wildlife agencies, which issue permits for rehabilitating native wildlife.
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which regulates rehabilitation of migratory birds.

- They assume full responsibility for their actions.
- RCWC, WildlifeEDU, and all associated entities are not liable for any harm, injury, or legal consequences resulting from the user’s actions.
- They release RCWC, its directors, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, including but not limited to:
- Personal injury, illness, or death.
- Property damage.
- Financial loss, including lost wages or business opportunities.
This waiver applies to the user and their heirs, beneficiaries, agents, and legal representatives.
